    JUNIOR URBAN DATA ANALYST – TURIN

    Carlo Ratti Associati is looking for a highly creative, flexible, independent and motivated individual to support our design process with spatial data analysis and visualizations. The position is available for an immediate start.

    Requiremets:

    • Degree in computation design, computer and information sciences, or equivalent;
    • Relevant skills for interpreting, analyzing, and pre-processing data; experience with big datasets analysis preferred;
    • Proficiency in geospatial data processing (QGIS or ArcGIS, PostGIS) required;
    • Advanced knowledge of visualizations techniques and software (such as processing or d3js);
    • Proficiency in web development (HTML, CSS, Javascript) and programming languages (such as Python);
    • A confident, professional attitude, excellent communication, graphics and teamwork skills to work along with our architects and designers;
    • Curiosity and relevant work experiences in urban analysis are essential together with knowledge of map-based libraries (Mapbox, Leaflet, CartoDB).

    PROJECT MANAGER – TURIN

    CRA is looking for a Project manager with a strong affinity in new technologies and the curiosity to research how these can transform the architecture of tomorrow. As a Project manager in our company, you will be leading multidisciplinary and international design team. You will be responsible of the relationships with CRA clients and will take important design choices on projects during all design phases, from the design concepts to drawing plans.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor or Master degree in Architectural/Building Engineering, Masterplanning, Design or relevant field;
    • fluent in written and spoken English, proficiency in another language is an asset;
    • 5+ years experience in an (international) architecture or design offices;
    • experience and comfort leading multidisciplinary design teams and clients through the development of new projects;
    • experience leading client meetings and design review meetings with multi-disciplinary staffs;
    • a team oriented professional looking to invest and grow in their professional career;
    • strong conceptual, graphic and design skills;
    • ability to monitor, control and report project performances against budgets;

    BUSINESS DEVELOPER – NEW YORK

    Carlo Ratti Associati is looking for a highly organized and proactive business developer to join its team in New York.
    The position is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organized, flexible, independent and motivated individual to be involved in the strategy and development of the practice through their support to the company director. The role will involve a broad range of responsibilities including business strategy, contacting and managing prospect clients, and preparing contractual documentation.

    Requirements

    • US citizenship, US/Italian preferred;
    • a strong educational background, ideally with professional experience in the design field
    • English mother tongue, with experience working/studying internationally (additional languages are a bonus)
    • an interest of the field in which CRA operates (a strong existing PR network/contacts in the area of architecture, urban planning, design and technology is a plus)
    • excellent ability to multi-task and prioritize in a dynamic and fast paced environment, with attention to detail
    • a confident, professional attitude with strong verbal and written communication skills
    • a high level of judgment, diplomacy and discretion
    • experience working with Word, Excel, PowerPoint/Keynote, and Adobe Creative Suite

    Main job tasks and responsibilities:

    JUNIOR ARCHITECT – NEW YORK

    CRA is looking for a US citizen Junior Architect with a strong affinity in new technologies and the curiosity to research how these can transform the architecture of tomorrow. As a Junior Architect in our New York office, you will be working as a member of a multidisciplinary and international design team. You will work on projects during all design phases, from the design concepts to drawing plans, create renderings and making presentations, reporting your work to the Senior Architect.

    Requirements

    • US citizenship, US/Italian preferred;
    • Bachelor or Master degree in Architectural/Building Engineering, Masterplanning, Design or relevant field;
    • 1-4 years experience in an (international) architecture or design offices;
    • Strong conceptual, graphic and design skills;
    • Mandatory skills: AutoCad, Revit, Adobe Suite, Rhino;

    ARCHITECTURE INTERN – TURIN

    Carlo Ratti Associati is looking for an architectural intern with a strong affinity in new technologies and the curiosity to research how these new technologies can transform the architecture of tomorrow. As an architectural intern in our Turin office, you will be working on various projects within a multidisciplinary and international design team and mentored by experienced architectural professionals.

    Requirements

    • Currently studying or recently graduated in Architectural/Building Engineering or other relevant studies (an enrolment statement from your university is required for this position);
    • Strong conceptual, graphic and design skills;
    • Mandatory skills: AutoCad, Revit, Adobe Suite, Rhino;
    • Preferred skills: Grasshopper, V-ray;
    • Fluent in written and spoken English, proficiency in another language is an asset;
    • Confidence in working in a complex and international environment;
    • Minimum availability of 3 months.
