MIT went completely wireless Nov. 1, when it installed the last of 2,800 wireless access points. The network, which began with 200 points in 2001, now covers about 9.4 million square feet and allows anyone --faculty, students, or passersby with a wireless connection on computers -- to access the Internet. The MIT Museum at 77 Mass. Ave. will hold an exhibition titled iSPOTS through Jan. 13.

Forever young
America's Promise -- The Alliance for Youth recently named the city one of the country's top 100 communities for young people. Cities and towns across the US were selected based on their support systems. ''We are thrilled that Cambridge has been recognized for the extraordinary level of collaboration among city agencies and between city and community agencies in supporting the healthy development of our children," City Manager Robert Healy said.
