PERSONAL ASSISTENT – TURIN

Carlo Ratti Associati is looking for a highly organized and proactive individual to join its team in Torino, Italy.
The CRA Cabinet is the executive branch of the office responsible for daily administration of CRA LLP. It supports the Director (Carlo Ratti) and subsidiary company (CRA SRL); develops and advances the public image of the office with an emphasis on CRA’s unique outlook on the future.
The position is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organized, flexible, independent and motivated individual to be involved in the organization of a growing practice through their support to the busy company director. The role will involve a diverse range of tasks and responsibilities from fielding calls and emails to organizing participation at high-level events worldwide and writing correspondence, as well as ad-hoc tasks as required. The position is full-time and available for an immediate start.

Applicants must demonstrate the following qualities:

  • a strong educational background, ideally with professional experience in a relevant area
  • fluent English, spoken and written, with experience working/studying internationally (additional languages are a bonus)
  • an interest in the field in which CRA operates (a strong existing PR network/contacts in the area of architecture, design and technology would be a plus)
  • excellent ability to multi-task and prioritise in a dynamic and fast paced environment, with attention to detail
  • a confident, professional attitude with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • a high level of judgement, diplomacy and discretion
  • experience working with Word, Excel, PowerPoint/Keynote and Mail/Outlook (knowledge of the Adobe Suite and database management is desirable)

Main job tasks and responsibilities:

  • managing the director’s agenda, scheduling meetings and travel arrangements
  • organizing participation in international lectures, exhibitions and events, including negotiating financial involvement (and preparing a short contract), organizing logistics and following up with invoicing
  • acting as intermediary for the director in calls and meetings, following up with written correspondence as required
  • keeping note of key contacts and ensure the contact database is kept up-to-date
  • providing general support to the rest of the team whenever possible

PR INTERN – MAKR SHAKR – TURIN

Makr Shak, the Turin-based startup producing the world’s first robotic bartender, is looking for a person to join its PR & Communication team. As the company faces a series of new, exciting challenges – including an update of its corporate mission and an expansion on the international markets – it also needs to reinforce the brand’s reach and reputation, primarily through social media channels and in the relationship with the press.
Working full time in the company’s Turin office, you will be part of a young, multidisciplinary team, reporting to the Communication Manager. Your tasks will include: writing day-to-day social media posts, handling media queries, liaising with journalists and other media contacts, writing and re-elaborating texts for both clients and journalists, preparing and distributing press releases or newsletters, monitoring media coverage on national and international media, organizing mailing lists and archive of publications, promoting events.

Requirements

ARCHITECTURE INTERN – TURIN

Carlo Ratti Associati is looking for an architectural intern with a strong affinity in new technologies and the curiosity to research how these new technologies can transform the architecture of tomorrow. As an architectural intern in our Turin office, you will be working on various projects within a multidisciplinary and international design team and mentored by experienced architectural professionals.

Requirements

  • Currently studying or recently graduated in Architectural/Building Engineering or other relevant studies (an enrolment statement from your university is required for this position);
  • Strong conceptual, graphic and design skills;
  • Mandatory skills: AutoCad, Revit, Adobe Suite, Rhino;
  • Preferred skills: Grasshopper, V-ray;
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, proficiency in another language is an asset;
  • Confidence in working in a complex and international environment;
  • Minimum availability of 3 months.

JUNIOR ARCHITECT – TURIN

Carlo Ratti Associati is looking for a Junior Architect with a strong affinity in new technologies and the curiosity to research how these new technologies can transform the architecture of tomorrow. As a Junior Architect in our Turin office, you will be working as a member of a multidisciplinary and international design team. You will work on projects during all design phases, from the design concepts to drawing plans, create renderings and making presentations, reporting your work to the Senior Architect.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Architectural/Building Engineering, Masterplanning, Design or relevant field;
  • 1-4 years experience in an (international) architecture or design offices;
  • Strong conceptual, graphic and design skills;
